We changed

We completed the final quadrant of Engels’ historic masterplan at Victory Square, transforming it into a contemporary, multifunctional ensemble that integrates new public spaces, adaptable buildings, and a rich mix of urban life while preserving and reinterpreting the area’s historic character.

Transformation

+ Completed the last missing quadrant of the 100-year-old Engels’ plan, adapting it to current urban and societal needs and created a "Twin Blocks" ensemble with contrasting interior identities—one public and open, the other more private and residential.
+ Introduced new routes, courtyards, and sculpted spaces that enhance connectivity and activate the public realm.
+ Turned a previously undefined site into a new urban destination through careful massing, public programming, and landscape design.

Climate

+ Prioritized low-carbon, long-life architecture using recycled and local materials (like Czech limestone).
+ Integrated intense greening and natural landscaping inspired by the Czech countryside to promote ecological health and biodiversity.

Collaboration

+ We were engaged in a multidisciplinary process linking architecture, landscape, and urbanism seamlessly.
