To end up with the quality of project we are happy with, we do a lot of research and discover many different things that ultimately do not make it into the solution proposed. That is the nature of an explorative design process. Reguarly we are sharing this knowledge with everyone in the form of exhibitions, publications or public workshops and lectures.
In this way, we conducted research into climate change related patents, showing the progress that has been made in recent years in finding technical solutions that can help keeping the planet cool. This formed part of the 2022 Rotterdam Architecture Biennale. In Shenzhen, we designed an exhibition that - next to our own work on water as leverage for climate change mitigation - also showed its effects at large as well as other designer’s work. In Moscow’s Architecture Museum, we shared our take on the integration of city, neighbourhood and the private home to achieve a permeable city where the in-between space is not neglected. These and many other events are our moments to share generously with friends, colleagues and the interested public in order to increase knowledge and to create moments of exchange and discussion about the future of our cities and landscapes.
