Green Corridor Planner Guidelines is a comprehensive framework developed for the World Bank to guide Almaty Agglomeration in creating a resilient, interconnected green network across river valleys, road buffers, and peri-urban landscapes. Responding to accelerating climate risks — rising temperatures, drought, mudflows, floods, landscape degradation — the guideline establishes a structured system of approaches and tools to restore ecological functions, increase urban tree canopy, enhance public spaces, and integrate nature-based solutions across diverse climatic zones.
