Project

Dayun New Town in Longgang District, Shenzhen, was planned as a major new urban district integrating sports, culture, and residential functions. The project covered an area of 120 hectares and aimed to provide a framework for sustainable and inclusive development.
The urban design guidelines introduced a public space framework that organizes the new town into distinct neighborhoods, each with its own character, while ensuring ecological and social diversity. Streets, parks, and open spaces form the backbone of the plan, connecting key cultural and sports facilities with residential and commercial areas. The guidelines also set standards for building design, mobility, and green infrastructure.
