Zhejiang Lab Conceptual Planning And Architectural Design For Phase I Project, Hangzhou, China
Zhejiang Laboratory is a new type of scientific research institution with open collaboration and mixed ownership. It is a manifestation of the high-level cooperative relationship between the company and the government. Innovative ideas benefit and grow here. The park is a spatial crystallization of economic and knowledge specialization, a source of new ideas and a place of application (incubation environment), which greatly attracts international knowledge workers and high-quality companies. Zhijiang Experimental City, where technology and daily life dance together, innovation is achieved through interaction. In the design of MLA+, we broke the traditional framework, re-integrated functions, and built a new spatial framework based on functions. The space is divided into four sections: Livable Upper City, Vitality Link, Working Lower City, and Greenery Park.
In terms of architectural design, we have shaped an efficient architectural form. At the same time, the park provides freedom and flexibility of choice and provides a unique living environment for urban residents.

The innovation concept of Zhejiang Lab city is focused on raising cooperation between companies (and government) to the highest possible level. The entire sector benefits from this. Employees, education institutions, students and competitors, they all benefit from the high-tech manufacturing industry united under a single banner and identity. The Science Campus embodies that identity, and makes the entire campus recognizable as an ideal picture of cooperation, innovation and sustainability.
