Project

In the heart of Al-Khobar, a once-forgotten zoo-garden has been reimagined through the FURDHA Walk project, a vibrant, linear public space designed to reconnect people with place, culture, and one another. Encompassing a Community & Art Center, a central urban plaza, and a shared street corridor leading to the waterfront, the project forms a cohesive civic landscape. It supports art programming, community gatherings, and flexible public events, breathing new life into Al-Khobar’s urban fabric through a contemporary, climate-responsive lens.
Tasked with transforming a vacant stretch into a place of meaning and vitality, our team envisioned an inclusive, future-ready public realm, where art, shade, and walkability converge. FURDHA Walk now stands as a platform for daily life, local creativity, and shared identity.
